This year has already been a whirlwind and a dream as Debbie and I, along with the best Board of Directors ever, have officially kicked off our mission to provide pajamas to sweet children in need. At the time of this blog, Promise Pajamas has been the recipient to three fun group activities for support, and three retail/restaurant locations are hosting collection boxes for anyone and everyone to be able to donate pajamas as conveniently as possible. In the coming weeks, there will be more group PJ parties and collection activities, as well as more boxes being hosted by various small businesses and corporations all over the greater Charlotte area. These are blessings beyond words! As we continue building our mission to help others, we feel it is of utmost importance to share how blessed we feel for the friendships and fellowship being built along the way. And after all, isn't that what the human experience is all about? While we work together to provide love to children we may not personally meet, we experience new encounters and build relationships, even if briefly, that will enhance and better our own lives. It's a beautiful thing.
